  • The term "Jyotih" (in Sanskrit, "Vedic astrology") refers to the traditional astrology used in India. Jyotish, which translates to "light," refers to both the inner light of awareness and the sacred art and science of the stars in the sky. Its origins can be found in the 10,000 BC Vedic literature, which is an ancient body of knowledge in India.
