"Though paired together, the vans dames old skool sale and Era are heavily distinct in their choice of design. The latter, in terms of construction, is rather straightforward, bearing a white canvas upper and blacked out vulcanized sole. But what makes the pair interesting is its blueprint-informed motifs, which dress from the toe through to the heel in thick black pen. In comparison, the Old Skool is seemingly bereft of any print; instead, it opts for a mix of black denim and suede, corduroy Jazz Stripes, and a metallic upgrade to to its usual hardware.
The collaborative pack consists of two Vans Skate models: the collection’s very own Sk8-Hi Decon and the vans slip on zwart heren. Cheetah-print canvas is applied to the uppers and is offset by the black suede exhibited by the toe, lacestays, and heel. Gold eyelets, waxed laces, and the black leather Sidestripe act as luxe additions to a rather casual model. A strawberry graphic near the heel and handwriting on the midsole are the final, personal touches to the arrangement.
