Kochi, once known as Cochin has a way of capturing your heart. It's the lingering fragrance of spices, in the air the murals adorning walls and the warmth found in a strangers smile. As a solo traveler I quickly realized that the key to truly experiencing this captivating city lies in finding the home base – for me that sanctuary was undeniably Hotel Seven Lights. The moment I stepped foot into Hotel Seven Lights after a tiring train journey it felt like an oasis. Welcoming faces, a lobby and a spacious room equipped with all modern amenities made settling in effortless. However what truly enchanted me was their location; it felt like immersing oneself in the pulse of Kochi. My days were filled with exploration and wonder. Mornings were spent exploring Fort Kochi. Strolling among the fishing nets and delving into the rich history of the area. Afternoons were dedicated to wandering through bustling markets guided by the trail of cardamom and cloves. Evenings were reserved for savoring local delicacies. Indulging in seafood by the waterfront and relishing appam and stew at Hotel Seven Lights own restaurant; sustenance, for another day of adventures ahead. Venturing beyond was effortless. Lulu Mall, a place, for shopping was just a quick taxi ride away. If you're craving some beach time Cherai Beach with its waves is the spot. As someone traveling alone having the team, at Hotel Seven Lights to assist me with transportation and suggest hidden gems was incredibly reassuring. But Hotel Seven Lights became more than just a place to sleep. It was the smiling faces who remembered my breakfast preferences, the housekeeping who ensured my room was always pristine, and the genuine warmth extended at every turn. I love the place for its warmth hospitality i checked their google reviews while researching it was good now i think others where right about the hotel. Kochi is a place that calls you back. It's a city as vibrant as its textiles, and as welcoming as a home-cooked meal. And when I do return, as I certainly will, you'll find me at Hotel Seven Lights – my haven in the heart of this captivating city. It's the perfect mix of modern comfort, ideal location, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like part of the family, even when you're traveling far from home.
