Characters who go through the process of undergoing a Class Change will have placeholder gear with an equivalent rank to the gear worn in the previous version of the character before the Class Change, and gear equipped by the previous version of the character will be put in the player's personal inventory. The players will be able to alter their appearance after making the changes and Paragon points will be reset. All clan warbands, clans, and social group affiliations will be carried over.
While Class Change is definitely the highlight of Diablo Immortal's next update, there are new events , rewards and events coming as well. A new reward track called the Hero's Journey is being added and will reward players with several items when they complete challenges that become more difficult at more Paragon levels. There's a bunch of new legendary items added for each class that will be focusing on new powers that inflict damage over time.
