WotLK Classic beta characters to level 80

As World of Warcraft Classic moves ever closer to Wrath of the Lich King, beta testing is in full swing. As of yesterday, players can level up their beta characters to level 80 and try out features like flying and the death knight's starting zone.
The update was made available to us via the WoW forums (via Blue Tracker) and describes the changes to WotLK Classic. The most recent patch focuses on flying in Northrend, mainly testing the quests and upgrades in this area as well as the death knight's starting behavior. Also, the level cap has been raised to 80 in the beta.
New features such as an improved group finder and phasing are also being tested.
Blizzard also released a nearly 10-minute video this morning that provides a behind-the-scenes look at the development of Wrath of the Lich King. The video provides an in-depth look at the game developers who worked as level designers on WotLK: Sarah Boulian-Verrall, Aaron Keller (current game director for Overwatch), and Ely Cannon. northrend.
