<br>Actually, back then, I was really into photography. Back then, I would be carrying 20 lbs of equipment + tripod and just walk walk walk.
<br>
<br>Those were the days when I would be carrying a pocket camera 24/7 too.
<br>
<br>Once the world turned digital, I lost the passion.

I carried 2 litres of iced water and some snacks only.

<br>Actually, I no longer like taking photos. All happened due to digital time and advancement in tech. Photography used to be an art of regret. Now is a mindset of take more and choose later....

Its still an art but just too popular to many new usage.

qqqt, I actually shoot scenery and snapshot. Portrait is something I don't mind doing but kind of bored in general.... thus, I rarely do.

<br>I was never a pro if definition is receiving money. Yet, back then, I would be helping out friends in case they need extra help in events.

Agree it is still art but much harder to appreciate these days. Now too many perfect photos.... and make perfect photos less "wow".

<br>Plus, nowadays camera is very wise. Hard to get a technically not good photo as long as one read the manual....

<br>FM2 is a nice workhorse. 120 was fun too but I was never really into this format. I always thought, either 135 or 4x5 or even 8x10. (120 is actually a good balance but 120 cannot control perspective. I like either small or big. Quite an extreme guy...)

<br>Back then, my amazing camera was a Olympus Miu2. I remember I had 4 of those.... still respect it a lot.

<br>I am not familar to GR. I assumed you meant Ricoh? These days, premium PS cannot be bad.

<br>For P&S, I also can be extreme. I like the smallest possible so that I can put into my pockets with ease.
<br>
<br>My favorite is Sony RX100 (there is a newer model now). I like it for the size and pic/video quality. The color is a bit too the cool side and the interface is not the most friendly. Yet, pros more than cons for me. You may also wanna take a look at it.

<br>Yet, I would also look at sony RX100 (or newer model). I like P&S to be smallest possible. RX100 is very well built with big sensor. Video quality should be the best available and even better than many DSLR or real camcorder.

<br>Disclaimer - I am an extremist re camera. I like it very small and if need to gear up, I don't mind big bricks. Yet, anything in the middle can be embarrassing to me. Thus, if you like 4/3 format in general, my whatever advice should be disregarded.

<br>Actually, I bought a F2AS for collecting not long ago. That period marks the pinacle of film cameras. I still urge all my friends to get one for display while still can get.
