此網站於2002年創立，現時全球已有二千萬人登記為會員，創辦人看中香港偷食巿場潛力大，所以下周親自來港，主持香港網站開幕禮。
有人批評網站鼓吹已婚男女出軌。不過有本港婚姻顧問認為，如果想出軌其實有很多機會，根本毋須靠此類網站。「其實我想你和我都會知道，最方便搞婚外情的地方，可能是辦公室。」
多元性關係專家何式凝亦表示，已婚男女同樣有權交朋友。「很多人都靠這種網站才交到朋友，他們工作上沒機會結交朋友，很需要這種網站，是很多人的唯一拯救。」不過明光社表示，這類婚後交友網，破壞傳統婚姻觀念，應立刻關閉。「我覺得這類網站，跟嫖妓網站很類近，都是誘使他人作不道德行為，可能造成一些無可挽救的傷害。」
