SO how long have you been back? I have spent many years overseas and been back for 10 years, still finding it hard to adjust sometimes.

It's weird .... I just replied but it doesn't shown on messageboard ToT anyhow, re-type again .....

Hehe, sorry it's Mick not Mike...

Life in HK is good in terms of career, quality of life is much better too. For me I am a movie lover and basically in HK you can watch all types of films from all over the world, it's just so convenient, I think this goes for other hobbies as well.

In terms of making friends, it's really hard, the biggest thing I find is, most people just don't have the "do the right things" attitude....their mouths always say they are simple, but they are always the ones that make things complicated

ya, u are rite..life in Hk is good in terms of career, more opportunities.....I was living in Canada, a boring country but life is simple and relax, ppls are friendly and simple as well...... no pressure at all ;) love it ~

Hk is a great place for shopping but not an ideal place for living I think ...... can't really sleep well at nite >.<

yup, can't really sleep well sometimes as well, don't know if it's pressure or other things...but exercising does help, you should give it a try

But I luv to hang out with frnds, keep an eye on some nice restaurants, u enjoy the foods in Hk, tons of choice ... movie, singing, shopping, traveling

,light drinking, reading .... But I still missing the days in Canada and BBQ wif frnds in summer time ^___^

Hmm....if you don't really feel comfortable with them, dun go out, it's x'mas and it's supposed to be the best time of the year, spend the time with the people you like that make you feel warm!

Recently I highly recommend 星空 and 50/50....actually 星空 is a must watch, it's filmed so perfectly it will keep playing in your mind for days, and for sure will bring back some memories and some tears to your eyes

that's been quite a while, 15 yrs...u ever come back hk in between?

I m from beijing actually and came over hk when i was 4, then went to england by on 1993 and back by 2003...

Oh so you did watch some TW movies recently, you will really like 星空, but I think it will be off soon, watch it while you can!

50/50 is funny and touching, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is really coming of age as a great actor, he and Ryan Gosling are going to be the superstars in the coming generation

it brings a lot of emotions if you have similar experiences emotionally as the characters before, you will be so drawn into it if you had feel the same as them....otherwise, it's a boring movie like most reviews people give

yeah, every frd of mine saying canada is a lovely place to live. I stayed in a small town called durham, not sure if u heard of it, its in the northern part. i stayed in london for a year to look for jobs, i dont like it either, only clubbing is good, haha...

Korea drama...... Some are really designed for female, but some are really good wif a nice storyboard and music, I found a nice Korea drama named 49日，a nice story which is not only talked about love.... :)

I was quite often to hang around @pacific mall and First markham place, haha ....

Sometime would hanging out with frnds @bubble tea cafe, talk talk read read magazine, sooooooooo relax and joyful ^^

Just a little bit boring sometime, but we can really enjoy the life in Toronto :)

Do u like the lifestyle in Hk? Will u move bk to Toronto in the future? I'm thinking if one day I'm retired, probably I will move bk to Toronto ^.<
