Some Like It Rough

I was chatting with someone I met through work last week, a few beers later we touched upon the subject of rough sex. I recounted an ex partner who liked to grab onto the head-board while we have sex, I found this interesting so one night I used my necktie to tie her hands onto the bed by surprise.
She later told me (not face to face, but by MSN) that she always liked to be "roughed" and later I realize that is not uncommon amongst women, what is it that fascinate women by being dominated? Being tied up certainly not my cup of tea.....
