yes. went to hollywood centre in mongkok and got several quotations.
will go with the team tomorrow to really get the measurements done, get the boots and the masks...

well, i myself did a little shopping... :)
-
... you accomplish your task .....well... haaa

... any special food during your rehersal tonite..?? fast food again?
-
curiosity M>>>
yes. and i'm very pleased with it. :)
nothing special. we parted after the rehearsal and i had some condensed soup at dorm.
how's your night?
-
condensed soup.... is not nutritionally balanced.... :P

... I m in hurry of my written piece of work... the deadline is something like 24 hrs later.... and I have to on shift tomorrow... sounds bad...
-
erica, have you narrow down your choice?
-
curiosity M>>>
anyway, no time and mood for a nice dinner :(

now typing up the letter of intent for MAIPR.

on the other hand i'm thinking about the PGDE at CUHK
don't think i'll be very pleased to get in because i aim for the master at warwick (and the scholarship $_$).
this recalled how i wished to be a teacher before i entered uni.

add oil curiosity M! i know you can do it!
-
AQ>>>
i've been doing this since the very beginning... hahaha
-
so, still get about 10 quality choices?
-
AQ>>>
yes, more or less the same.
so how's your evening?
-
... PGDE is a must for teacher nowadays.... so, if you still have flash back of the days before your enter this school.... maybe, you need to think twice.... in addition to the $$..haaa

MAIPR is full time... so... you probably have to leave HK as well... double degree with scholarship is tempting.... but, what next? :)
-
had a nice dinner with family... now just watching tv b4 going to sleep... do you prefer a single guy to be your benefactor? or it doesnt matter?
-
PGDE>>>
yes that's it.
PGDE: "The pension's good, the work's rewarding and the holidays are fantastic: 13 weeks a year."(from Scotland's PGDE homepage)
--- note sure about pension, but the pay is definitely not bad.

MAIPR: yes it's tempting. actually they have 17 scholarships this year (but they used to have 19 last year...) not sure how many people are competing so kind of worried.
that's why i'm thinking what if i'm not in MAIPR.
after MAIPR i think i'll be a curator (luckily). actually i enjoy working in the theatre so i think i may join a theatre group or arts company or so.

i also applied for an MPhil at CUHK. it's gender studies. again, don't know how many ppl are competing for it. but probably less competitive than MAIPR.
-
AQ>>>
actually i do have a preference on that.
of course single men are always better (as i don't want to trigger "troubles")
but i can be v careful with married men.
-
so it's either single guy or married man.. but not guy with gf... i guess i understand the reason behind that...
-
AQ>>>
oops... ok in fact i'll count those with gfs as "single men" lol
-
.... it's kinda hard to choose... local/ foreign... dip/ master/ double master... oh... so hard...

.... single men may not mean to be single... that's life... :P
-
hahaha... that means you will consider all men as long as they are under 45... and i am one of those ppl.. :)
-
but i can be v careful with married men.... <-----?? can be.... not will be... or had been..... haaaa
-
curiosity M>>>
as you see i have a preference
MAIPR>MPhil>PGDE
that's sort of what i prefer...
but i know nothing about the possibilities... >_<
it not difficult to choose at this moment, but if i get an offer from one of them i will be v bugged.
eg. just get the offer from PGDE

well, "can be" means "i will try" or "i have tried" lol

AQ>>>
haha if you think you are you are!
-
but i dont think i will get your attention if i send you email... not good at words and not good at presenting myself...
-
... Good... as long as you make up your mind... either one is Good enough... :)

-
AQ>>>
just try :)
-
AQ... dont worry... It's hard to get a man with ALL the quality erica mentioned....

... agree..? erica
-
hi erica 56

may i be your friend
-
curiosity M>>>
hey come on... i believe he's somewhere... perhaps he'll one day read this thread and drop a line for me...

i was googling "MAIPR+blog" and found that two bloggers who had interest in the program and was admitted into the program mentioned a girl (or two girls) named "joycelyn". what's happened to "joycelyn"?

that's interesting. also i started to figure out something... 7 out of 10 admitted last year were females... umm...

TONY>>>
if you wish to :)
-
.... you have good chances then... being a female....

... yes... he must be somewhere.... or have already been here....
-
curiosity M>>>
that's the only piece of statistics i found so far...
think it's good news anyway.
still googling information...

i think so and i'm pretty sure he'll appear pretty soon... :)
-
... do u think , you are ready to leave HK... anything that you will particularly miss, if you go UK... like family...etc..

an email sent...
-
email sent and hope you find it appealing...

i always believe there is someone out there for us... just if we are lucky enough to bump into him/her...
-
curiosity M>>>
i'm now researching the time MAIPR release the results... not quite sure about that. they said on the homepage that it's 4-6weeks after the deadlin (jan), so that'll be feb/march? but i found on one of the bolggers that the release of results was in may...

and PGDE releases results in feb! in that case i'll CERTAINLY wait for the results of MAIPR instead of accepting the offer from PGDE (if any)

i don't think i'll aplly for PGDE in that case.

---

i don't think i'll miss my family a lot. after all i've been living at dorm on my own for quite some time. friends or "special friends"?... well we can chat through webcams!
-
