Why am I feeling so unsecured this morning?

Kind of stressed...., can't wait for the long weekend.... (sigh~~~)

what happened?

lots coming up on my mind... unstable job, health, money... though i have a job now but it's only a temp job. i hate people ask about my plans after this job (an usual question that my co-workers like to ask), just kind of weary...

so, you feel unsecured about your job?

well, you may have to find a job afterwards, but shouldn't be too hard..right?

not just about work, though it's the major part. job hunting is not easy nowadays and i hate doing so. it's also about my futre, seems no hope. maybe a few months later i will have nothing, i mean nothing. no job, no money, no friends, no love. i know people will say at least you have health, i know, but sometimes it's just not easy to get over this low tide.

My work contract is ending by October though the company verbally said that it's likely to be renewed for another three months, it's still not secured. Especially the work load is unexpectedly loose these days, probably they won't need me after Oct... I also need to spend for my health problem and other expenses... feeling really sad when I think of the tiny achievements that I have at my age :-(

problem is getting severe as age grows. I have the same problems with you

what can i do so that i will hv interest to go to work again.

agreed with u...it seems i'm not capable of going to work anymore, so tired. work ONLY for money...hv to work in order to hv money to survive.

rest could mean rest forever...i mean unemploy forever, and some of my friends are in this situation right now.

Me too. getting too tired of the field, no motivation at all. Each day I just do my job "unattendedly" without paying an effort. That doesn't feel good, just for money. No passion no drive. Sometimes I feel a zombie...

Sometimes it seems like a meaningless chain, working for money to survive in order to maintain an unhappy life

Life in HK is not so happy, for sure

unhappy life because we are doing something we dun like to do...i think this is what we are facing now.

it's also getting more and more difficult to keep our standard of living in hk nowaday...more people are getting poor.

Surviving for survival is meaningless. We want something more. However there's very little that we can do to reform our lives, everything is too late and unsecured.

confidence once lost, is hard to find

wren, you speak English well (I guess). That's already something that you should feel proud/lucky of in Asian countries like HK/China.

Don't be too much tied up with your current field. Try something that would make good use of your language ability.

hopeless, yes, without a foreseeable goal, life is like dead.
