You are half right. The question about 'the purpose of life' has nothing to do with us being extinct.
Extinction has to do with procreation and that wont be an issue, becos God mad men horny becos he wants men to continue making life regardless he wants it or not.
Life has no purpose becos there is no purpose in life for anyone. We liver becos that is how we create our live. Or in another word: Life is what we make of it as we live and its made of what we have experienced and will do with our existence to continue that life.

Also, there is a big different from seeking 'purpose of life' and feeling that 'life is not worth living'.
I was referring to what is the 'purpose of life' statement and not taking it as 'life is not worth living'.
But its too complex to describe it here. Not sure if you can understand what I mean.

Girl, that is a very hard question for me to answer as it has to do with two lives. Yours and the bady. And it may be affecting 3 lifes, if this guy from 'she' has any morals or sense of responsibility.
Since that we cannot predict about this man, then let us focus on you and the baby ok?

First of all, you need to answer these following questions:
1. Are you old enough to take care of yourself and the bady if you keep the bady
2. How will your family take it and will they support you if the man doesnt want to take responsibility and marry you
3. Will you be able to raise the bady in a healty and safe environment
4. Will you love the baby even if you dont love or love too much the man that has gotten you pregnant.
These are just some few questions. You need to talk to a counselor that understand your background and what is right for you.

Thanks for your comment, but its quite early to discern that 'girl' is not ready for motherhood from simply a few words from her. I do believe that having a child requires more indepth knownledge about the people who will be affected by it and affect it.

Passby, an interest is an interest. Sometimes there is no real reason. But or your sake, my interest lies within myself and understanding of men's hidden nature to complete some wirtings.
Also, to see if there ARE any exceptions to what i have seen so far. I began to feel there are some rare speicemen here that are not witless and shallow.
