Hello thread~
-
hello fm
-
Good morning thread!

Nony likes to lick my son, and my son loves it too. His pack leader doesn't like it so he pushes him away all the time, he licks me only when I am not wearing long pants or socks, sometimes he licks my arms after a yummy meal.
-
so quiet
-
BTW, I am reading Murakami's 1Q84..quite interesting so far.
-
Oh niche, that reminds me. I am yet to read that one... Aiiii... So many books, so little time.
-
FM/maze,

I finally took Nony to trim his nails and furs between his paws, 2 workers had to hold him down and my son and I were also there to comfort him. Haha, such high maintenance!

Do you guys use an electrical shaver too?

-
niche,

i think it's better if you just walk away and let those people do their job. that's what i do now, drop off and pick up in 2 hours. i hear there is house-call service, where a van would come to pick up your dog and return after it's done. I was told the service is cheap, like only 100 bucks and half of it is for charity. go figure.

i used to do all the grooming for the previous dog, but i got lazy this time around. yes, electric pet shaver is a must. wanna buy a used one??
-
niche, I just use hair-cutting scissors.

I maintain my dogs myself and they let me handle them whatever way I want to. The first couple of times of hair trimming and ear cleaning can be a bit stressful, but they soon get used to it.
-
And niche, I agree with maze. If you decide to let the professional do the grooming, you should leave him with the professional and pick him up after it's done. Dogs are actually much easier to handle when the owners are not around.

Get a good groomer. It makes a whole lot of difference. 一分錢, 一分貨.
-
fa_ma,

i applause you for doing such a good job caring for your dogs. grooming is hard work, but you get a special sense of bonding with the animal in the process.
-
maze, yes, and I value the bonding very much.

I don't trust anyone else with my dogs. I want to handle and observe my dogs so I'll know if something is wrong with them. Without continuous observation of wee, poop, feeding habits, and responses in routine handling, there will be no way of knowing. Other people just can't provide the kind of information I need to ensure the well-being of my furry girls.
-
typo... applaud.
-
FM/maze,

Thanks for the tips.

I guess dogs behave like small kids in a lot of ways. My parents and my husband often tell me how my son behaves so much better when I am not around.
-
niche,

well, i guess you have too much love. too bad none of it spills over my way... hahaha
-
maze,

My loss for sure..hahaha.
-
FM,

Hope your new relationship works out well for you. ^^
-

-
Hope not! I already went out twice with the dog before 9am.
-

Have a good lunch!
-
niche
thx.
your boy dont like to go out for lunch?
-
seller,

My boy is not back from his swimming class, he has another activity right after lunch, so we'll be having lunch at home.
-
morning folks
nice day today!
-
Hello thread. Lovely day~
-
fm
yeah. yesterday was nice too, did u bring your dogs out?
-
niche
your kid befriend any kids that are really bratty in school? i meant those that are spoil rotten. hahahaha.........
-
seller, no, I didn't take my dogs out. I have been busy with other things these couple of weekends.
-
fm
who walked the dogs for u then?
-
seller, I walk the dogs but I didn't take them on long excursions. They do get their daily two walks though.
-
fm
oh ok, get it :)
-
seller,

Depends on how you define brats. I try not to criticize my son's friends in front of him, I'd explain to him that there are always good and bad character traits in every person. But I do discourage him from hanging out with kids who disrespect adults and act like bullies.

My son is a very friendly boy, but he's also easily influenced by others, so I always keep a watchful eye on him.

i also spend a lot of time surfing the net, but it doesn't affect my self-confidence at all!
-
sigh, i am in no mood to chit chat today.
-

-
niche
can u imagine a 5-6 yrs old gal telling her friend that ' i m richer then you' n ' im prettier then u' etc etc? it scared me. hahaha......
-
lily
i guess they are referring to those that goes online for 7 hours or more
-
seller,

That's just kids' talk! No need to overreact.

Grownups talk like that all the time anyway..some people like to brag.
-
Good morning thread dwellers. Rise and shine~~

Lily, you are not 青春期少女, or so I thought... You are a big girl. Of course your self esteem is not affected by the amount of social life you have.

I can't stand people who brag...
-
mirror mirror, who is the fairest of them all?

vanity is our eternal downfall.
-
maze, why so sentimental? Are you in a better mood today?
-
fa_ma,

who in your opinion is the king of brag is she?
-
maze, how would I know? I hardly know anyone in she.
-
fa_ma,

it's so unlike you to be evasive. lol
-
maze, I'm good at being evasive. It's a technique I acquired through work. :-D
-
i just see quite a bit of verbal abuses going on... some people not brag about themselves, they are relentless in trashing others crossing their path.
